yea i have not read any new vamp books yet but im not rlly planing 2 change im fav new vamp books!!!!!!

I've read Twilight, HON, VA, and Blue Bloods. I LOVE VA and HON. I can't choose between the two. Blue Bloods was crap, I couldn't get into it. Twilight was okay, very overrated IMO. The most unrealistic of the bunch as well.

I think it's unfair for people to compare HON and VA. They are both amazing series, but yet so different at the same time.

-The Evernight books
-The Vampire kisses series
-Sucks to be me
-Uninvited
-Tantalize, and
-Dangerous Girls
All thes books are 'vampire' books and so far my favorites would have to be 1. VA
2. evernight and 3. vampire kisses. Dangerous Girls was also really good but it ends to fast. The House of Night books seem to repeat themselves( something bad happens at the school, zoey saves the day, zoey gets a new 'mark', then it starts all over in the next book.)the way this is going the series never really progresses (in my mind) The Twilight books were good but they are slow compaired to some of these other books and they are just way to popular. The others were all pretty good but nothing compaired to the Vampire Acadmy books!!

I have to say that if I had choose between HON, Twilight, and VA... I would differently say VA!!!! Next has to be Twilight... Actually the other day I was telling my friend that I would love for VA to be made into a movie!!!! or Series... whatever I can get LOL. If someone would have asked me..."do we make a movie for the Twilight Saga or Vampire Academy Series" I would have begged them to do VA. I think there is no way you can compare VA to HON and Twilight. the only thing they have alike is that there vampire books but other than that VA is way more mature and realistic. I love the idea of the 3 diff type of vamps... the magic, the world of royal blood, the evil vamps but also the righteous vamps. The romance and friendship is way more powerful too.

to tell you the truth when i read the back of VA i didn't think i would like it so i put off reading it til i had nothing else to read. then i read it and i was like omg i have to get the next book it was so amazing. the story line is more complex then Twilight and HoN.

well and it didnt help that i got the second one first lol... i still read them in order but when i was buying them i bought frostbite first...

LOL... WOW I did the same thing! I started reading it but quickly reasoned that something was up... Than I looked into and saw that I had the 2nd book... but I do tell you one thing... the reason why I jumped into reading the 1st part was becasue the 2nd first chapter had me curious. So I guess it helped

I can honestly tell you I was all about Twilight, but now that I have read VA, Twilight is not even in the same category. My favorite is now VA. The characters, the story, and I honestly love the badass image that Rose has.

Vampire Diaries and HoN is very much immature I have found.

Im trying to reread the Vampire Diaries again but is still not grabbing me enough

I understand- after i read VA i simply can't get as engaged as reading other novels as i do when reading VA

I know! I have to find something that sparks the interest. Like I love how Rose is such a smartass, and the relationship with Dimitri. I loved the whole Bella and Edward relationship and watching it grow. With HON its just goofy, grr.

In any case, i hope i can say for sure, that it may one day be safe for my heart to put Vampire Academy along with Cirque Du Freak and Trinity Blood, as far as the story and plot are concerned..unlike the now-decayed twilight sequels[aside from Eclipse, they can't even compete against the Matrix sequels in standing power, now!]
