am i the only onw who thinks that rosa should stay back and not go look for here love

i think that you might be. dimitri is a really important character in the books and if rose didn't go to find him then that would be really sad. also, what else would she do? if she doesn't go looking for dimitri then her life will be boring and she will always be sad

He has to be ok, the only way for him to ever return is that somehow Rose is able to either bring him back with her connection to the other world, Liessa and Adrian can somehow help OR Mason got it wrong and he's not been turned. that blond guy semed to know that Rose cared about him, he looked right at her as he was biting Dimetri, he had been tauting her about Leissa...he somehow knows her and I'm hoping that he's keeping Demitri alive hoping Rose will come looking for him. He's got something to prove too Rose so hopefully, maybe, praying he didn't kill Demitri and he's still alive. just has to be...Richelle can't just build us up to a love like tht and then kill him off....just can't. Killing Mason was enough, losing other guardians and teachers...please not Demitri too.

Dmitri could be Strigoi and not pure evil. Their ability to work together, and their ability to be parents to Christian for a length of time, and my suspicion that they all answer to Victor lead me to believe that they can tame their inclinations if they want.

But yes, Lissa/Adrian would be the obvious fix. But Mead may want to challenge us more than that.

Dimitri is one of the major characters from since the beginning of the series as the protagonist's captor to her mentor to her friend to her love. I mean... Richelle just can't kill him off after he played such a central role. He was well-known and respected by the whole community and they would listen occasionally to him. I wonder if Dimitri would become a spokesperson for the Strigoi community or something....

That would be interesting. If one cannot reverse being strigoi, and no one wants him to be killed, then maybe he could do good for the world by controlling his new kind...
