| I think these books are amazing. They are different from other vampire novels. I think these book would make a great T.V. series or even movie. Has anyone thought about doing that? ~Lyanne~ |

| If these books are to be a T.V. series then they should be with real people. Not anime. These books are to good not to do them justice by using real people. |

| I'm starting to think everyone watched too much Anime that have Shitters for Fillers, if everyone thinks having a Vampire Academy anime is a bad idea![*coughcough*Naruto T.V series*coughcough*>_>] At least if it has an Anime series, no one would have to put up with false ethnicity or casting that gets the overall ethnicity wrong, like in the Ill-fated Earthsea T.V series[I still respect Ashmore, but W.T.H were they thinking in getting him up for Ged, instead of a Native American?T_T] _________________ Please come and join us in this site, as we could use a hand in growing, right away. http://hogwartsstudents.darkbb.com/forum.htm Is the Ultimate Coordinator, Kira Yamato, Still Alive? If he is alive, then could someone please tell him to come in, and kill the Volturi with Strike Freedom Gundam, please? |

I think you have a good point Tony, about Anime. In an Anime bad acting and poor actor and actresses don't happen. Type casting and such doesn't occur. But, i still don't feel an Anime can adequately express the world of VA. |

| ^Although i won't deny Ashmore has talent and craft as far as taking performance classes are concerned[he was wonderous when he got picked to play Jake of the Animorphs in the T.V series!] but that's not the point! The point, is that when it comes to Anime, bad casting or weak cast managements don't happen, often, on any version of any anime! In fact, the big problem to worry about, would be to get shitter-paranoid, because if anyone has to watch filler episodes, the fillers NEED TO BE GOOD, AND MUST HELP THE MAIN STORY, AT ALL TIMES, IN ALOT OF POSITIVE WAYS!!!! Because if a Filler session fails to do that job, right, then it's just a shitter session, for pumping in weak and very wimpy filler that would make the world the anime's trying to represent look very shitty!>_> _________________ Please come and join us in this site, as we could use a hand in growing, right away. http://hogwartsstudents.darkbb.com/forum.htm Is the Ultimate Coordinator, Kira Yamato, Still Alive? If he is alive, then could someone please tell him to come in, and kill the Volturi with Strike Freedom Gundam, please? |

| Yes...but with anime, Vampire Academy just won't seem real enough. And that's where the live action comes in. Sure, it leaves room for mistakes but the characters aren't perfect their selves. And it pieces the whole story much better if it was live action. I just can't view it as an anime. _________________ You will lose what you value most.." | Fillers aren't necessarily a problem. If it's done right- they could be awesome. For instance, True Blood show on HBO.. the second season had ALOT of filler episodes. But, the fans love the actors and actresses and the world depicted and are satisfied with the acting and and actions and depiction of the story line. The fillers just add up to the anticipation. There are shows were fillers ruin the series. But, thats a risk ALL series have to make. Plus, realistically you dont live your life everyday action packed and sometimes in novels its just action page after page and can jump in time sequence. When displaying that on screen you need a better transition than a book sometimes thus fillers. I personally love the filler episodes. If it's good directing and funding its just a chance for character development to shine. I'm still not convinced anime would be the best adaption for VA. Personally, i don't want VA to be turned into a movie or series. It's perfect just the way i have it imagined in my head. But, if it was i would really prefer live action and depictions. |

Good point...the only upsides to Anime that we KNOW would occur, would be that at least they would recall that Rose and Lissa are eye-candy, along with Christian, Adrian, and Pre-Strigoi Dimitri!
That said, it's best to imagine Rose as a Middle-Eastern Tsundere, and it's also a must if one must pit Christian Ozera against either Shiro Amada from Mobile Suit Gundam:The 8th M.S Team, or Sousuke Sagara of the Full Metal Panic series, mostly for the sake of observations and tough calls, especially since i'm starting to wish Lissa fused with a Tsundere like Kaname of the Full-Metal Panic Series, i might add, since both of them make gargantuan-sized errors!_________________ Please come and join us in this site, as we could use a hand in growing, right away. http://hogwartsstudents.darkbb.com/forum.htm Is the Ultimate Coordinator, Kira Yamato, Still Alive? If he is alive, then could someone please tell him to come in, and kill the Volturi with Strike Freedom Gundam, please? |

| I'm not trying to dismiss anime. I think that there are a lot of anime shows that wouldnt work with real actors. Same as some shows wouldnt work well if they were anime. I am just sayin that for me i would prefer real people. I feel that when its real actors, good actors, you can experience more and be open to it more. But, there are a lot of good actors and actresses out there that well known. With them you could get them to take the roles more seriously and it could be awesome. And even it turns out bad. Movies, series, or whatever, can never take away the integrity ( or however you spell it) of the books. ~Lyanne~ |

| The problem with a TV series is that there's only so many episodes they can create before the story dies. I know with a movie there's likely for things to get left out and with a tv series there's a better chance for fitting everything in. But if it's popular it'll be expected to continue, and there's only so long a story can be dragged out for. At least that's my opinion on it. _________________ . . ...arguing about who would win in a fight: Dumbledore from the Harry Potter books or Magnus Bane. "I don't think Magnus Bane is real either," scoffed the first. "Have you ever met him?"

| I think Va would be best in a movie series, like Harry Potter. I think that RM would have to be involved with everything, it is her world. Like JK Rowling was heavily involved with Harry Potter for the first 2 movies, they were the closest to the books. I think if it was handled where RM could make sure everything ran as close to her world as possible, no one would be disappointed. Sorry Tony but I can not stand Anime, I dont know why I just dont like how it looks. _________________ "What's up?" I asked. "You tell me," he (Christian) said.
