Have you read these series?

I went here: http://www.houseofnightseries.com/pages/tempted.html and i signed up to get new lines from Tempted which will be released on 10/27/09.
I already received 3 lines from the book and so far it sounds good.

These series are my favorite after Vampire Academy.

I tried to read the first few pages. It did not interest me (sorry). I will try to read it again though, now that I've read Vampire Academy. =)

The main character (Zoe is it?), was really annoying..but I'm gonna try to read it again to see if I like it.

Everyone has different taste for different types of books, but I can assure you, Zoey [Yes, she's the main character] is not annoying (well, not for me).

the books werent bad. i wont say they were my favourite series. but they were a decent read. and they hooked me enof that im waiting for tempted now!
i like that she realeases them quite quickly. i hate waiting for books.

i liked the series and i want to read the next book but is it just me or do the books kinda repeat themselves? (something bad happens, zoey saves the day, zoey gets a new mark)

I liked books 1-3...maybe 4. But book 5 wasn't really growing on me.

I read the first five chapters and don't care about it. Zoey seems like a Mary Sue to me, and her snark isn't that funny.

Anyone have a link to the main House of Night website? I can't find it anymore after they re-vamped (no pun intended) the look.

omg, I love the house of night series its just one little problem though, I wish they were a bit more less dramatic with zoey and her many guy problems and more towards, well I don't know something else, just more to the story

either way, I like them and can't wait till tempted comes out next month

I don't know what the titles of the books are, but I ended up reading online all of the ones published, and I still think whats-her-face is a Mary Sue. Like woah-how-did-this-get-published Sue. Plus the only halfway interesting character is a completely cliched evil popular!girl. Which is completely pathetic, because the pop!girl's a COMPLETE cliche but yet the best charrie in the series. Anyway. End rant.

Is House Of Night Epic?

I do like the House of Night Series. I went on a binge reading spree over the summer and this was the third series i read( before vampire academy) and it was ranking high on my book list. I agree with some though about Zoe and being dramatic and such.. but hey this book is written by both P.C. Cast AND her daughter. It took me a while to get into the series. The first book being the hardest. But, i think slowly but surely the books are evolving. By the third book i was completely sucked in and dead to the world when reading. it's been a while since a book got my heart racing- i cried, i laughed , i was scared.. this series really got to my emotions. But, i think i was drawn ( don't worry no spoilers) to the Cherokee heritage and magical pagan aspects to these books and not so much the awkward love triangles.

It's worth the read though. If you can tough it through the first few segments of the book i think you wont regret it and will enjoy this series.
