I doubt Zoey's cannon-fodder in a fight, because that is as fruitless as Ginny being pathetic or trying to make Harry Jealous, really...yet at the same time, unlike in Ginny's case, unfortunately...some of us suspect Zoey is a...you get the idea, which is bad, since i never felt Ginny was that kind of person, yet at the same time...on the other hand, well, they did mention H.O.N is more sexually-explict than V.A is, and something tells me...it makes less sense than Succumbus being more explict than V.A, really..wait, how i am saying the stuff makes no sense!

So SPOILERS if you haven't read it.

I have to say the story had pretty much every thing I wanted. Erik finally pushed the last button and was dumped. The Warrior Oath explained. Stevie Rae comes clean (mostly....Rephaim exclusded). Heath gets a front and center role in Zoey's life...one that is constantly mentioned as uber important. So I was pleased.

Kalona as (possibly) Nyx's Warrior was an interesting twist. I wonder if he killed Erebus and that's why Nyx banished him from the Otherworld.

But the ending KILLED ME. Aphrodite and the Nerd Herd keep talking about her vision of Zoey drowning alone or dying on this island. So what do they do? They leave her alone on the island and go off. Stark struts off to sulk because he's jealous of Kalona and poor Heath has to go and try to drag him back to Zoey where he's supposed to be. He's frustrated, jealous, and tired of having his heart broken but he will forever do what is necessary for Zoey---when no one else will. Keeping in mind Stark's biggest fear is NOT being there when Zoey needs him, he's not there when Zoey needs him b/c he's sulking. Aaarrghh!

So Zoey is all confused about Kalona. Was he always evil or was he good once and can be saved? She prays to Nyx to help her clear her mind on this. And in response to her prayers, she witnesses Kalona murder Heath (her biggest fear and the only reason she ever pushed Heath away). So Heath's murder clarifies that Kalona is evil and not savable (right?), clarifies for the Vampyres that he's not Erebus, and otherwise puts the story in the right order. BUT I HATE IT!! I CRIED buckets.

I'm hoping there's a way to bring him back. That that is why we see him in the Otherworld (where is that exactly?), that that is why Zoey's tattoos disappear. After all, Aphrodite lost her Mark when she saved Stevie Rae. Can Zoey save Heath and return back to her body?

If there is a way to email the Casts, please let me know. Heath was my favorite character! He must be saved....why else make him so important to Zoey? Why stress that he was her tie to humanity, her rock, her focus when in trouble. Everyone pointed to how important Heath was to Zoey and the fight...they can't kill him off.

If I were to predict, Aphrodite's vision of Kalona going up in a bright ball of light is not Zoey killing Kalona but providing a path to his redemption. But at what cost? Heath was not worth it.

You mean...i was acting somewhat better than a Net Troll or an internet Strong Man, but worse than a Reptile or a Dragon, all this time?
