These are pretty good! I don't know what many of them are, but the artwork is very nice. I like the ones with the 'fire' background. I'd love to know how you did it! I use Adobe Photoshop Elements. I've tried with GIMP and I just don't get it. Elements is a bit more user friendly, but that's just for me! _________________ Yes, I know it's Devil Hunter Yohko...but she reminded me of Rose.

Thank you! I'd say you can split my current art into 5 different categories: Supernatural, Twilight, requests, actors/actresses, and rpg characters. That's why the subject choices seem so random. Also, this isn't even close to all the stuff I've made, just what I think are the best and some personal favorites. For the fire, I just found a picture of fire and slapped it as the background for a new banner or whatever, then I cut out a person's outline, paste it as a new layer over the fire, and then use different effects depending how much contrast or light I want between the two. To find good flame backgrounds, just look up fire, flames, fire flames, fire textures, etc, on google images. You'll find plenty of cool shots. Same with things like lightning or lasers, which are both awesome effects. I've never used Photoshop, although I know it's the premium graphics program out there. I just can't afford to buy it, and I got both Paintshop and Gimp for free. I know what you mean about Gimp, though. I use it sparingly because it intimidates me! I learned Paintshop by playing around with it so I suppose I should do the same with Gimp, but it's frustrating because things that are so easy in PS seem to be more difficult in Gimp!

Well Elements wasn't all that bad cost-wise. I think I paid like $120 for it. Adobe Photoshop "proper" is really expensive. I remember a few years ago wanting to get it and it was like $700. Forget that! But thanks for the tips. I haven't watched Supernatural. And I don't play rpg. But that doesn't change the great artwork. I'm working up the courage to join Worth1000.com. Those people are really good! I love to play with the program, but I don't have really any inspiration right now to create something. _________________ Yes, I know it's Devil Hunter Yohko...but she reminded me of Rose.

| You've got some really amazing graphics! I love all your supernatural ones, got to love the Winchester boys _________________ . . ...arguing about who would win in a fight: Dumbledore from the Harry Potter books or Magnus Bane. "I don't think Magnus Bane is real either," scoffed the first. "Have you ever met him?"

Thank you! Mmm, they're yummy! The forums over at supernatural.tv are my go-to for graphics help. They have this insane resources exchange for brushes, textures, and tutorials, not to mention a massive fanart help forum. I guess that happens when you have over 40,000 members on one board!

Thanks, Dimitri&Rose! Those are some of my faves too. So I have a couple more things. I finally decided I should, you know, make some VA stuff. These were made with GIMP, whereas all my other banners were made with Paintshop Pro. The differences between the two are very small; I basically just used a different effect on the title. Oh, and obviously I did the one in my sig as well. I liked the effect better. 1 month to Catching Fire! _________________
