Adrian has his strong suits while Lissa has her. |
I get what you're saying but (and I hate to argue everyone's theories) I don't think that works all that well
SHADOW KISS & BLOOD PROMISE SPOILERS:
| Spoiler: | | | I'm guessing you're pointing towards the whole Avery & compulsion thing, and I think I've said it before somewhere on the site, but I believe Lissa's just as powerful in compulsion. Remember in SK when Lissa's being attacked by the Mana, and she uses her super-compulsion on Jesse? That had to take some pretty powerful compulsion, unless that's not actually compulsion but another odd spirit power in which case Lissa has two strong powers? And Both Avery and Lissa managed to bring people back from the dead, Avery more than Lissa (unless you count the raven) so which one was "stronger" in the healing and compulsion side of things. And in Avery's case she was also able to project herself into the minds of others, like Oksana. I think that spirit users may develop different powers at different times, but I'm not so into the one strong power theory....just that because one power turns up earlier than the others the spirit user has the time to develop more control over the first power and then has to learn to control the others once they turn up. |
