I just finished the first of two books. I enjoyed it, I thought the writing was pretty clever. The story is about a school/community where teenagers have been coming back from the dead. In other words they are zombies. The story revolves around people's perceptions and prejudices. I thought the read was a lot of fun. It's starts with Book 1: Jacob. The second book is Gideon, then Elijah....As best as I can describe it, it's demonic harlequin romance. The characters are demons, vampires, werewolves, druids, etc. The first book called Jacob oddly enough has a heroine named Isabella (Bella). The story is okay if only the author's writing would improve. But it's full of clunky with unutterable dialogue (which later we learn is Demonic affectation...everyone else ...
