ooohh Henry Cavill is soo hot!i want him to be Dimitri too (but only if he has short hair)...can't they just make several vampire academy movies each with different leads...that way everyone will be happy lol:P and i agree with Camilla Belle being Rose, and i have to admit shes never crossed my mind as Rose but i think she'd really suit the role, and i've always imagined Tom Surridge as Adrian ...and i like the picture you've edited there looks great =]

Henry Cavill is exactly how I picture Dimitri. He's also pretty much the reason I bothered to watch the Tudors this season, just to fawn over his gorgeousness. ♥ Epic fail, I know.

I'm not familiar with Tom Sturridge, tho he looks pretty cute. I really like Camilla Belle because I think she's an extremely awesome actor, but I just think Rose would be better off an unknown. Or at least, much MUCH less known. But I really do like Camilla Belle. lol She's gorgeous. Same thing with all of the other characters actually. I'd prefer if they cast unknown actors for their roles. That way you don't end up with Megan Fox as Rose and Blake Lively (UGH ) as Lissa.

Though, I do have to say, Carly Schroeder REALLY looks like the chick (Lissa) on the cover of Shadow Kiss. Well... to me anyway.

And I totally and 100% agree with you on the "unknown" sorta point. The last thing I would ever want, above actually having a VA movie made, is having someone like Blake Lively playing one of the roles...

...the only reason I wouldn't want a movie made out of VA is that they would screw it up. =/
However, if we were in charge of filming it would be great! =]

Yeah, that's the only problem with a VA movie. It probably wouldn't come out right at all. But I'm sure as hell we'd get it right if Richelle (or her fans) had the final say in who gets cast.

Also i remember once Richelle Mead had a contest for who could come up with the best list of actors that would play characters from her books and she picked Taylor Kitsch as dimitri ...what do you guys think?..i dunno if i like him as Dimitri

Carly Schroeder hasn't been in a whole lot of mainstream stuff, but I've seen her in this movie called Mean Creek when she was younger. She started out on that lame Disney show Lizzie McGuire. Recently, she was on Law & Order SVU and I thought she was exactly like Lissa in that. lol She'll be in some movie called Forget Me Not, though I don't know when it comes out.
