And our very own VA series has made it to 2nd! Congrats! It was being outdone by Angel however. But Angel had made TV series.. so let's hope that some production company may look into this and turn VA into a fabulous movie.

I don't know who this Crawford person is. But what about Stanislav Ianevski - who played Viktor Krum in Harry Potter? Unless you think he may be too short, but with CGI, anything can be fixed. He'd just have to grow his hair a bit...but at least he LOOKS Eastern European (because he is!). He's not bad looking either.

Why does everyone see Megan Fox as Rose? She seems just a pretty face to me, she doesn't have the backbone to be Rose. As for Dimitri... I don't think such a man is born. Laughing

(I do have a photo of an anonymous male model that screams "Dimitri" to me, but I'm not sure if I should post it or not)
I'd go for relatively unknown actors. And I think they actually will if they decide to make a movie. Just like Twilight. You can't say Stewart and Pattison were huge stars.

yeahIdk megan just looks.... idk. When i first saw the cover to Vampire Academy she looked like Anglia Jolie..... Did anyone else realize that or is that just me?

I have to admit, I don't know who Megan Fox is. I've never really heard of her until coming to this forum. Magdalene, I say go ahead and post the photo, I'm curious! I also like the idea of giving relative unknowns a chance, too. Until Twilight, I had basically forgotten who Robert Pattinson was until someone said, "you know that kid who died in Harry Potter". LOL!

And please, if there is a God, NO ANGELINA! Blecch! I just don't like her, she seems so very fake to me. I know the girl on the cover looks like her, but I think it would be OK to change what Rose looks like so that she doesn't resemble Angelina.

I think your Dimitri is lacking something for the part. Not just the hair. He could be a little more built. JMO, of course. Otherwise he's an OK looking guy.

Is "Lissa" that girl from Lost? With the baby? I think her character's name was Claire... I always see Lissa with a long, angular face. She was Moroi and they're suppose to be slim and tall so that's how I imagine her.
Rose is a bit dull and I agree that Dimitri should be more muscular.
But Malyse's Dimitri isn't bad, I guess.

The only problem with Claire from LOST, is her age. I don't know that I would believe her in the role of a High School student. I mean, yes, she would definitely make a good Moroi, but a teenaged Moroi? I dunno. Maybe she would do to be the role of a teacher? Did we ever get a description of Priscilla? Maybe that would work?
