| Well of course, that's Milo Ventimiglia! I HAVE SUCH A CRUSH ON HIM. Ever since Gilmore Girls, hahaha. He's such a gorgeous dude, and a great actor...but i don't see him as any character, especially not Dimitri. |

| I really don't like the idea of Megan Fox as Rose.. I don't know.. But I guess out of a lot of people she'd be good.. I don't remember who made the comment about unknowns but I like that! I do agree that maybe it'd be better if it was unknown.. Slightly. Like not huge actors or actresses... Gaspard Ulliel would make a good Adrian in my mind.. Either that or Christian. I think Taylor Momsen or whatever would make a good Lissa. And as for Dimitri.. Ben Barnes might be good, only buffer. Steven Strait also has his possibilites. Plus he has that amazing, sexy deep voice. |

OMG those were my exact words!!
For Rose I really think a nobody should play her. this actress must have talent and be gorgeous though.. but I think the movie would be better if a not-famous person played her role.
For Dimitri, I am smitten to Gaspard Ulleil. (need a mop on aisle fou... Essa what the hell are you doing on the floor??) *shrugs and smiles sheepishishly* (I was...um thinking about Gaspard and melted...) 
or even Chace Crawford. That boy got looks. *puddle in aisle floor once again!!*
but I hope Gaspard would at least play Adrian.

As long as we could somehow ignore the fact of the matter that Megan and Miley Cyrus actually look alike, to some extent or another, as Miley looks like a scrawnier version of Megan, and something tells me that if either of them were considered for someone like Lissa, instead, that i must remind you all of the following.

| Everywhere I read about people casting the characters of Va, someone says Ben Barnes. I mean, yeah, he's gorgeous in sort of the same way as Dimka. But, he's too... pretty, for lack of a better word. To me, Dimitri is a little roughed up (in a completely SEXY way XD). He's a guardian, so he kind of HAS to be a little rough. Ben Barnes looks too innocent to play D. I saw this actor on the movie Texas Rangers and in that new show Dark Blue and I think he (if he grew his hair!) would make a perfect Dimitri. His name's Dylan McDermott; I'll post a picture of him here.  I think he's absolutely gorgeous, plus he looks a bit older than Barnes and, in my opinion, would look MUCH better in a duster  _________________  |

| I agree that Ben Barnes is too 'young' looking, too 'baby-face' to be Dimitri. Now this guy you suggested, Magic Hour, he's gorgeous no doubt. But he is 48 yrs old. Dimitri's supposed to be 24. There's no way this guy could pass for 24. Pairing up a 48 yr old with a 17 yr old is a bit on the gross side. This gentleman could play the role of another Dhampir...maybe that one that Rose had also idolized, the one who was the Badicas' guardian, the name escapes me. OR...he could play someone at court, maybe one of the Moroi kids' parents? _________________  Yes, I know it's Devil Hunter Yohko...but she reminded me of Rose. |
