THE CULLENS STRIVE TO BE NOBLE RIGHTEOUS VAMPIRES WHO BELIEVED IN HEAVEN, BUT BELIEVED THEIR WERE DAMNED FOR THE MOST PART CARLISLE AND EDWARD AS IT TURNED OUT STILL WANTED TO HAVE HOPE.

But apart from those two, the concepts were executed, poorly, for the most part, weren't they? No

Yeah that's because she's not a good author. A good author shows you not dictates characteristics. SM'S characters are two dimensional at the most.

Basically, remove Edward and Carlisle, or even Jacob Black, for that matter, and you might have removed the only ones whose personalities are actually 3-dimensional, right?

I agree with you only about Carlisle and Jacob though. Edward doesn't show anything he just tells you what he's feeling. It's lame.

I can't believe that the concepts of the Twilight novels turned out to be mismanaged, that badly!!! Shocked

At least when it came to the world of Percy Jackson And The Olympians, say what you will about the length of the novels, themselves, but they had alot of character-development, and if they had more pages on them than what they had, the development would have been explored, more, if you ask me.

I don't know about that. The amount aof pages means nothing if an author doesnn't know how to fill them correctly. Sm has a way of writing a whole lot of nothingness, loosly based around her main characters. Or should I say character. I think if she had more pages in her books we would still have the same result as we do now.

I was talking about Riordan's results, Jill.

Like when New Moon felt heavier than O.O.T.P, for all the wrong reasons, for instance, Jill? Sad

Or when Eclipse showed even more character regressions than H.B.P, for that matter? Crying or Very sad [At least in H.B.P, there's just Ginny going paranoid, but we can blame that on Voldemort, for the most part, or at least his diary, right? But in everyone else's cases, there's just no such excuse, at all, isn't there? No ]

Can you be a little more specific on the regressions your referring to. I see them as crossing over into young adults. Hermoine for instance was fighting emotional battles. Ginny well yeah I agree, because she experienced Voldemorts strenght and power first hand and has ample reason.

^I do think her position would have been much stronger, though, if she was given the chance to pause for a few minutes, take some deep breaths, and try not to show her paranoia around everyone else, too much, as it scared me, senselessly, and might have given people the wrong impression that she's a mary-sue, when we also have her Black Family Blood to blame for that. No

I do think she's justified, in her paranoia, though, i just wished that the novel elaborated on it, more, just to remind us all of it, as it would have helped breathe life into the novel.

As for Ron, however, he wasn't thinking clearly, as he should have been arguing with Hermione instead of Ginny, if you ask me.

Harry, however, is finer in there, than he was in O.O.T.P, not that i hated how he was in O.O.T.P, but at least his thoughts are much clearer, generally speaking, that's something, right?

And besides, if we even bring in the world of Percy Jackson And The Olympians, again, no matter how short those novels were, even Percy and his fellow Demigods each have an actual personality, while the Twilight Novels, on the other hand...well, it seems that only Carlisle, Emmett, and Jacob have a personality that was kept intact. No
