| Is it just me, or does Richelle Mead really know how to write male characters? I found myself loving so many of the guys in the VA series, and finding them interesting (Adrian, Dimitri, Eddie, Mason, Christian.) I think all of them bring something different to the table, and have a unique appeal to them. _________________ |

| They have depth and aren't posterboard 2-dimensional. |

| I agree, and I would say that about all her characters. _________________ Yes, I know it's Devil Hunter Yohko...but she reminded me of Rose. |

| it's true! I feel as though she didn't assign each character a given cliche personality. Each one has a basic/general typical character, like adrian is the "bad boy" (in a way) but then she gives them more depth by showing his more sensitive side and kind of making him somewhat innocent or at the least caring haha. _________________ "When it's time to live and let die, and you can't get another try, something inside this heart has died, you're in ruins." --Green Day

| I think that is what makes him so interesting, because you never really completely understand him. _________________ "When it's time to live and let die, and you can't get another try, something inside this heart has died, you're in ruins." --Green Day

| Mason and Eddie semi 2 dimensional Adrian christian and Dimitri very complex. Adrian is obviously complex but he is the only one we see so much of through rose. Rose starts getting to know christian and he takes on the protective brother kind of role with rose and comes from a complex background that adds to his character. Domotri despite what many people think is also complex it is just his stoic exterior that hides who he really is inside. I think in book four when we get to see where dimitri came from we'll actually start to see the depth of his character. I'll admit eddie did change a little after Fb and became a little more serious thus evolving his character some. _________________ "I knew it! | I just hope that the bloody book is not all about him and Rose trying to find him . RM said that we'll be seeing more of Adrian in BP . I can't wait to see if he goes after Rose! _________________ My cigarretes and I going outside . At least they show me respect . |

| part of me really wants to see him go after rose, and another part of me doesn't if in the event it might result in Adrian dieing. I hope Adrian stays with her in her dreams through out the book. I just want his character to stay safe. _________________ "I knew it! I can't even imagine that-I'd be freaking out all the time around him. | true! but I think that everybody will go . Lisa will go after Rose , trying to protect her , Christian will go to look after Lisa , Adrian will tag along , because he cant stay alone at the academy and Eddie will follow them because of duty. _________________ My cigarretes and I going outside . | oh yeah thats my prediction too because it's what victor wants. If the group goes after rose, Rm already said Rose doesn't die, so either lissa, christian, adrian, or eddie will. Who would you rather die out of them? I really don't want that to happen but if I had to make a choice unfortunately for eddie third times a charm. Who do you think it will be? _________________ "I knew it! I can't even imagine that-I'd be freaking out all the time around him. | i dont want eddie to die poor guy can't catch a break. some one else was pointing out that pattern and going with their theory then some one would have to take one for the team. i would like eddie to grad. and become christians guardian. one big happy family. sort of. as long as adrian can some how be part of that family weather it be with rose or not. _________________ "I knew it!
