| You could be right there, maybe losing her mom hurt, but then again maybe it made her realize that because she isn't royal her father and her won't get protection. Maybe that is enough to make her learn how to fight, and then use that against the others. I think your right, it would be nice to think that she would be their friend. But one good deed might not show that she is good, it might just be what she wants them to see.

| It's different for Lissa than it is for Rose. We're viewing it from Rose's perspective, so when she gets a look or a comment about how hot she is it actually registers with us. While with Lissa, we're disadvantaged because we don't see much of the story from her perspective; but at the same time she's Moroi, they're supposed to be super gorgeous and it often goes without saying.

But Lissa is meant to be an angel who's trapped in the body of a Moroi, right, S.M?

| It's the way she's written, as a caring and kind person. But at the same time she's not perfect, she's troubled and obviously gets angry occassionally (aka. Super-complusion on Jesse) It's fine to see her as an angel though, I'm not going to try and take that away from you.

Yep your right, being royal and Moroi she is supposed to be beautiful, they all are. I mean I don't remember there being a ugly moroi in the book.

unless you count Jesse and Ralph, but I suppose they're only ugly on the inside
