It seems to me she's a bit selfish- she wants Rose all to herself, when in reality Rose's life shouldn't revolve around her.
I understand that it's the guardian motto and all that, but seriously? What kind of friend is that?
In my opinion Rose gives more to that friendship than Lissa. She makes the sacrifices, she compromises, she worries about her friend..
It just seems a tad unfair.

I definitely agree with the unfairness of the situation.

It's funny though, Rose never minded doing all that until they were back at the Academy again and she had something to lose by being a Guardian (Dimitri) and even then she wasn't all that upset about always being there for Lissa because Lissa had been her only family for so long. If your only desire was to protect the person who'd always been around (unlike her practically absent mother and non-existant father), then it seems reasonable to put aside possible crushes for Lissa. It's only when she realises that what she's had to give up (Dimitri once again) and how much it affected her that she's dropped Lissa. I think she's probaly hurting so much inside thinking of leaving Lissa behind, but she has to do this for herself.

I have no idea, it's not like I write the books. We'll only find out more once the next one's released. Those were just my opinions.

I don't think she'll drop Lissa.
It's really hard to just forget a friend, especially when you've been together for such a long time and endured the same hardships- the accident, running away, Viktor's attack...
I think they'll be friends again as soon as the Dimitri situation is resolved

At first I was very unsure how I felt about her, but then as I read on I found that I totally respect her. I know being a dhampir means she is to protect the Moroi but she doesn't even question it. She gives up everything for Lissa all the time.

I think Mia may suprise us yet. She helped in Spokane, so what makes us think she won't do it again? Don't get me wrong, I hate her for what she did to Rose and Lissa, but I am not quite ready to write her off yet. I think she can do more to help, than harm.

She did help Rose when she was killing the Strigoi and if if wasn't for Mia, Rose could be dead.
Ehh. I wouldn't like that at all.

So hopefully if Mia does come up in Blood Promise, she will help Rose in whatever she needs help in.

personally I'm still wary of Mia. I like how she helped rose and the others escape in Spokane, but at the same time I don't think that would have cured her of her hate for Lissa and Rose. Rose is the one who was praised for fighting off the strigoi, and don't think Mia got much recognition. She constantly gets annoyed at being forgotten or deemed "unworthy" in society, so do you really think she's going to let it all go now just because she gets to live with her dad and learn to fight? I think (like with Victor) we haven't seen the last of her and I don't think she's all that good just yet.

Yeah SM again your right there, she didn't get any recognition for what she did. Well if she did, there was no mention. So maybe she isn't as good as I thought she was..but then again maybe losing her mom has made her realize things too.

yeah, I get that she could have changed and I want to believe that she has because losing her mum has to be tough. But I just can't shake the feeling that she's going to be back again and perhaps not as a friend.
