I do not agree with this. I get what you mean that would be odd, but Rose knows that he is not really him. She knows what happens when people turn, and once he is back to his normal loving self, I think she will realize that that was not him and forgive what he had done to her.

I love Lissa but i think she is more of public speaker type than a ruling type. She is more suited for lobbying and promoting and talking to people sort of thing. I feel Tasha would make a good ruler. She is even a royal.

I agree with alot Kim is saying. Who knows what you will do when your in love- and who knows what your going to do when your in fear. It's easy to say you have morals and values and all that -but honestly in those types of situations thinking rationality and seeing your options aren't always easy...especially dealing with the grief of your loved one. I don't think it's as simple as drinking animal blood. I always wondered though instead of biting why can't they have donated bagged blood?

As much as i loved Dimitri and Rose, i would be kinda upset if they find a cure for him and then they get back together like nothing happened. Dimitri used to sit in church and fight his demons from previous killings and he did that to survive. Turning back now i think will only have a negative impact on him. I think it will be anti-climactic if Dimitri is restored to his old self and then they move on happily ever after....to me it's like ...really?

I agree with you up until that last part. I want R and D to be back together mostly because I CANT see R with Adrian.

I bet something will happen if they do get back together. What?- is the question.

I've never been a fan of "Lissa for Queen" I think she's way too emotional for the job. She might have good people skills and might be loved by all, but can she make tough decisions that have the possibility of hurting a lot of people at once? I can't see her wanting to do that sort of thing. She'd have a lot of trouble making the right decidions for the majority.

I think there's a certain thrill for them in hunting their prey. If you can't go out during the day, can't eat "normal" food, can't feel "alive" anymore, why would you settle for something as mundane as bagged blood?

I reckon there would have to be negative side-effects to Dimitri being saved. If he turned out to accept it all too easily (after, as you said, he's spent so much time battling to keep himself in control and not let the lives he's taken cause him to forget the good he's done), then it'd would be our dimitri.

RandD4ever, i *do * want Rose and Dimitri to be together but i just don't see how they can have a healthy relationship. I hope RM finds a way to make it work. But i just don't want it to be as simple as Dimitri is turned back to his old self and they resume happily ever after- because, in my opinion, that's not Dimitri. The Dimitri we know and love will have a hard time accepting all the bad he had done. You know what i mean? I just don't want a corny happily ever after- but i do want a happily ever after.

And i firmly believe if Rose and Dimitri doesn't end up together- it doesnt have to be one or the other. I don't think she will be with Adrian just cause she isn't with Dimitri and thats fine to me. Dimitri was her love and i wouldn't mind her staying alone u know?

Ya know, I was wondering if he would come back as part Shadow-Kissed. If he did then Rose could help him get through it, which she would help him get through whatever depression he would be in from being a Strigoi. I wonder if Dimitri does come back and describes being Strigoi as being a puppet-- like Rose felt when she had her break-down. Question

I dont think Strigoi come back as Shadow kissed.

In VA world- someone dies and they pass. They can become ghost and linger. But they are still dead even as ghost forms.

Strigoi they aren't really dead- or Rose would be able to see them as ghost forms or something. They are alive to certain extent and walk the earth. I don't think restoring them with spirit will cause them to be shadow kissed.

What confuses me and messes up theory is Rose's "side effect" of sensing when Strigoi are around.

So i'm confused. scratch

I think it's more because they're closer to being dead than they are to being alive. They're without life (aka. the spirit/soul) but they're still "alive". So she can sense them because they're not exactly living. But I agree with you, I don't think they'd become shadow-kissed.
