I own Blood Promise. It sits on my shelf and I am hesitant to pick it up. I'm dying to know what happens to Rose and Dmitri. But then I know that as soon as I devour the book, it's another year wait. It's the same with the Van Alen Legacy from the Blue Bloods series. Bad Moderator Me!

Ha- its understandable though. I for one never pick up a new series unless it's almost finished- just can't stand the waiting time between books. I just picked up reading VA over the summer- so it's not that long of a wait for me for the next book- i have time to re-read and re-read as much as i want u know? Or i simply pick up reading a long series in between waiting time for another series to distract myself. With VA it's even easier to wait because i'm in school and don't have much time for myself and reading unrelated school material. Read it when your ready, but it's definitely worth the read! :gently pushes you towards your Blood Promise book:

After 2 yr waiting times for HP books 9 months for VA doesn't feel like a long time. Got plenty of books on my reading list to keep me distracted.

I just finished Van Alen and posted on it in the literature section of this site. I'll pick up Blood Promise soon....I'm just savoring knowing the story is there waiting for me.
