ahhh the anticipation is driving me crazy bounce

I'm sooo curious to figure out who is on that cover :hopes for Dimitri:

Apparently Richelle isn't planning on telling us either. I think she's taking a little too much pleasure from all the fans guessing what's going on. I have to admire her for that...it must be fairly hilarious on her side of things watching everyone argue about who's on the cover.

I don't really think the tanned skin can be used as an indicator for Dimitri. RM has said that more often than not, the people who pick the front covers haven't read the books in depth and so they're not picking models that reflect the exact images of characters. So the model won't reflect the strongest image of a character.

i agree w/u. one of the reasons i loved the book it was because of dimitri. i almost literary cried when he turned strigoi.. so sad :'( Crying or Very sad

I don't think she's trying to be cruel exactly, just interesting. If Rose and Dimitri had come together too quickly, then there would be less excitement. People would find the series average in the area of romance because they would be nothing to build from. It's the same thing with lissa and christian. I wasn't all that surprised that they split up slightly because they can't be together and loving the entire series, they get boring that way.
While I will be upset if both couples don't get back together, right now if just gives the plot more development.

I think the 6 books will be long enough. There's only so much you can drag out from the one story. And at least we'll have the spin-off series eventually.
